Tony Sirico’s capricious character Paulie “Walnuts” Gualtieri definitely raised his profile. Though appearing in many hit films, the veteran actor seems relatively confined to playing the gangster role. He is trying to break through by voicing cartoon characters.
Lorraine Bracco portrayed the gangster leader’s psychiatrist Dr. Jennifer Melfi perfectly. After the show came to an end, she starred in many hit films and TV shows, such as Goodfellas. The awards-winning actress later in 2015 revealed her long struggle with weight loss.
Jamie-Lynn Sigler reached her peak as the sweet daughter Meadow Soprano. Although she starred in a number of thrillers and launched her music career, her health condition prevented her from making much of a splash in her career. Sigler has had multiple sclerosis since she was 20.
The real-life couple Maureen and Steven Van Zandt starred in The Sopranos as Gabriella and Silvio Dante. Acting is only a part-time gig for singer Steven: he made his success by playing guitar in the E Street Band. The two recently appeared in Netflix’s The Christmas Chronicles.
Robert Iler is best known for his portrayal of A.J. Soprano, a troubled young boy with self-esteem issues. After the series ended, he almost quit his acting career and became a professional poker player.
Having graced The Godfather Part II as a gangster, veteran Dominic Chianese successfully portrayed Corrado “Junior” Soprano as an old school mobster. As well as an actor, Dominic is also a tenor. During his free time, He used to raise money for charity through singing.
The character Adrian La Cerva, a nightclub owner, helped Drea de Matteo launch her career. Her post-HBO career is also thriving, from starring in Desperate Housewives to the crime drama Shades of Blue. She is now hosting a rewatch podcast of The Sopranos.
Steve Schirripa played the big-hearted and gentle Bobby Bacala in The Sopranos. After the show, Steve brought his goombas persona into game shows and even wrote goombas-themed books. Steve also launched his vegan pasta sauces business in 2014.
Aida Turturro portrayed the manipulative and possibly least likable character, Janice Soprano. Just like the other cast members, she has continued her acting career since the show ended. Aida has reunited with her Sopranos co-stars in shows like Nurse Jackie and Law & Order.

Joe Pantoliano successfully portrayed the violent soldier Ralph Cifaretto in The Sopranos.
